CEWS Infographic

CEWS Program extended to June 30, 2021

FreshPlan infographic highlights the benefits of Canada’s Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS), designed to support Canadian businesses to re-hire workers laid off as a result of COVID-19. The amount employers get per employee is based on their revenue drop.

Business Owner clients may also appreciate the Canadian Emergency Business Account (CEBA) infographic. This program is designed to help small businesses and not-for-profits by providing interest-free loans of up to $60,000.

“This content is valuable to business-owner clients, or those clients who may have children who are self-employed.”

Canadian employers who have seen a drop in revenue due to COVID-19  may be eligible for a subsidy to cover part of their employee wages. A base subsidy is for all eligible employers with a decline in revenue, while the top up subsidy may provide up to an additional 35% or employers with a 70% or greater reduction in revenue. This subsidy will enable employers to re-hire workers, help prevent further job losses, and ease businesses back into normal operations.
